A Testimonial on Bad Business Practices by the Neptune Wine Festival

The Neptune Wine Festival Charges $350 for a table at there event and can be purchased by an individual or a company. Previous to the event SeoBounty.com purchased a table at the event under the name of the company. We called back again to double check the spelling and to make sure our company name would be on the table. We were assured that it would in fact be there. When arriving at the event the name on the table was not that of the company but instead of the President. The table said "Richard Lewis" not SeoBounty.com as instructed. Obviously this was incorrect and took away from the fact that the event was a company event. On Tuesday the President of the Company called The Neptune Wine Festival to tell them that they were upset by the error and ask for a discount on a future table. They were instructed that the Vice President of the Company would be advised and he would hear back as to what they would do to make it right. When we were called back we were informed that the Vice President of the Company felt we gained "value from the event" and that we would be offered "a Poster" if we came and picked it up. We informed them that we would let everyone know they did not value people who chose the Neptune Wine Festival as a place of business. So that is what we are doing. It is a shame that in 2010 companies do not realize the value of Customer Service and that they don't realize that companies can fight back on bad customer service. I advise any business to move there money and there time to the Norfolk Wine Festival or other events.
